Novak Djokovic eases into Paris semis

World number two Novak Djokovic is through to the Paris Masters semi-finals after he defeated Stanislas Wawrinka in straight sets.

Novak Djokovic has beaten Stanislas Wawrinka in straight sets to progress through to the semi-finals of the Paris Masters.

The world number two dominated his Swiss opponent to move through to the last four with a 6-1 6-4 triumph.

The Serbian player dropped just six points on his serve as he cantered into a one-set advantage in just over 30 minutes.

The second set was a much tighter affair with the opening six games going with serve, but Djokovic struck in the seventh and he held on to seal victory.

Djokovic will play either Roger Federer or Juan Martin del Potro for a place in the final.
