Serena Williams aiming for "new level"

World number one Serena Williams is hoping that she can make improvements to her game next year.

Serena Williams has revealed that she is keen to take her game to a "new level" in 2014.

The world number one has won 10 titles, including the French and US Opens, this year and could add an 11th to her tally with a victory at the upcoming WTA Championships in Istanbul.

"What I think is great about it is I'm still looking to improve," she told reporters.

""What I learned most about this year is I have a lot of room for improvement and talking with my coach over it, I'm so excited for next year just to take my game to a new level."

Williams has won 17 Grand Slam titles during her career to date.
