Rafael Nadal contradicts media speculation by revealing that he wants to play at Indian Wells.

Rafael Nadal has insisted that no decision has been made regarding his participation at Indian Wells.

Recent reports in the media had claimed that the Spaniard would opt out of the tournament in order to aid his recovery from a knee injury.

However, while admitting that the situation could change, the 26-year-old has revealed that he is planning to take part in California next month.

"My intention is to go to Indian Wells. My priority is to play there, but if I do not feel comfortable and I'm not okay, we must make a decision," he is quoted as saying by ESPN. "The media cannot know more than me."

Nadal returned to action in January following a seven-month spell on the sidelines.
