Murray to play in Albert Hall exhibition

World number two Andy Murray has confirmed that he will finish his season by featuring in the inaugural Tie Break Tens exhibition event at the Royal Albert Hall.

The new quickfire tournament will see six players go head to head in first-to-10 tie-breaks as part of the Champions Tennis event on December 5.

Murray is currently featuring at the ATP World Tour Finals and then will try to win Great Britain the Davis Cup for the first time in 79 years in next weekend's final against Belgium.

"It's nice for me to be able to play one more time in Britain before the end of the year, and this is a really interesting format which should be a lot of fun for everyone involved," said Murray.

"Tie-breaks are always exciting, so to have a whole night of them is going to be great. Plus, the Royal Albert Hall is an iconic venue, and I'm looking forward to playing there for the first time."

Murray will be joined by Spain's David Ferrer, fellow Brits Tim Henman and Kyle Edmund and two other players in the round-robin tournament.
