Andy Murray to face Michael Berrer in Thailand

Great Britain's number one Andy Murray will take on Michael Berrer in the second round of the Thailand Open.

German Berrer set up the match with a round one 7-6 6-3 victory over Swiss qualifier Marco Chiudinelli in Bangkok.

Murray, 24, received a bye into the second round of the competition.

It will be the first time he has participated in an event since exiting the US Open at the semi-final stage earlier this month.
