Andy Murray: 'I made too many mistakes against Borna Coric'

Andy Murray admits that he made "too many mistakes" in his defeat to 18-year-old Borna Coric in the quarter-finals of the Dubai Tennis Championships.

Andy Murray has admitted that he was off his game after losing to teenager Borna Coric in the quarter-finals of the Dubai Tennis Championships.

The British number one, who has two Grand Slam titles to his name, succumbed to a 6-1 6-3 defeat at the hands of the 18-year-old Croatian.

"He didn't make many errors," BBC Sport quotes Murray as saying. "He played very solid and he moved well. I made way too many mistakes from the beginning of the match right through to the end, early in rallies, rushing points."

Coric is ranked 84th in the world, while Murray moved up to third this week.
