Andy Murray books place in Japan Open semi-final

Andy Murray has defeated David Nalbandian in straight sets in the quarter-final of the Japan Open.

The British number one managed a comfortable 6-4 victory in the first set. He was broken by the Argentinian at 5-4 in the second but eventually went on to take the set 7-5.

Murray goes on to face Spain's David Ferrer in the semi. In the other, top seed Rafael Nadal takes on Mardy Fish.
