Madison Keys has admitted that it was "surreal" to win her first WTA title at Eastbourne.

The American, 19, defeated Angelique Kerber in three sets on Saturday to clinch the Aegon International.

"It was a bit surreal playing in my first final but I tried to stay calm and not over-think it," Keys is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "Hopefully there will be many more to come."

Keys will face Puerto Rico's Monica Puig in the first round of Wimbledon, which gets underway on Monday.
