The 24-year-old Frenchman overcame the semi-final challenge of American John Isner 6-4 3-6 7-6 (8-6).
Monfils will face unseeded Radek Stepanek in today's final after the 32-year-old Czech completed a 6-3 6-3 victory over Donald Young.
