World number 186 Sergei Bubka continues his recovery from a three-storey window fall in Paris.

World number 186 Sergei Bubka has revealed that he is on the road to recovery after falling from a third-storey window in Paris at the beginning of the month.

The 25-year-old, who is the partner of women's world number one Victoria Azarenka, suffered multiple fractures after falling from a window in the French capital.

"The circumstances leading to the fall were all so unlucky, but since the accident I feel I have been really lucky," he told Eurosport.

"I was lucky to be alive and not have damaged anything major. I was lucky my friends found me and took me to a great hospital where they took great care of me."

It is understood that the Ukrainian has been undergoing therapy sessions of six hours per day.
