Sergei Bubka injured in hotel fall

Sergei Bubka has reportedly been seriously injured after falling from a third-storey hotel window in Paris.

The 25-year-old Ukrainian is the boyfriend of women's world number one Victoria Azarenka and the son of former Olympic pole vaulter Sergey Bubka.

The world number 150 is thought to have been locked inside a bathroom before attempting to escape by climbing out of the window.

Bubka began his professional career in 2005.
