Weather halts Andy Murray fightback

A storm halts the semi-final between Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray at the French Open with the players level at 3-3 in the fourth set.

Play has been suspended in the French Open semi-final at Roland Garros with Novak Djokovic leading Andy Murray 6-3 6-3 5-7 3-3 this evening.

The players were closely-matched at the start of the match, but Djokovic soon started to look the stronger of the two as he tried to break the British number one.

Murray battled hard to keep the opener on level terms, but the world number one eventually edged ahead before serving the set out in the next game.

The top seed had an early break in the second as he looked to double his lead, and he held his remaining service games in the second as he appeared to be closing in on a place in the final.

The Scot dug deep in the third though, breaking Djokovic with the scores tied at 5-5 before comfortably serving it out to take the match into a fourth set.

It looked like Murray's resurgence was continuing in the fourth as he won the first two games of the set, but the Serb got the break back shortly after as he won three game in a row.

Murray was under pressure as Djokovic pushed to win a fourth straight game, but the Scot saved a string of break points to level the fourth before the match was suspended because of storms in Paris.
