Andy Murray: Nick Kyrgios is a "tough opponent"

British number one Andy Murray admits that he will face a "tough opponent" in Nick Kyrgios in the third round of the French Open.

Andy Murray has admitted that Nick Kyrgios will be a "tough opponent" in the third round at the French Open.

The British number one will face the Australian tomorrow morning, having beaten the 20-year-old in the Australian Open earlier this year.

The third seed told BBC Sport: "I like him. I like his game. He's a tough opponent who loves playing on the big stages, so it's certainly not going to be an easy match.

"I expect it to be a tough battle but I'll come up with the best game plan that I can and hopefully I can put in a good performance."

Kyrgios has not played since Monday, having received a walkover following Kyle Edmund's withdrawal in round two.
