Novak Djokovic congratulates Rafael Nadal

Novak Djokovic congratulates Rafael Nadal following his defeat to the Spaniard in the semi-finals of the French Open.

Novak Djokovic has said that he is disappointed with his French Open exit but reflected on an "unbelievable" match against Rafael Nadal.

The world number one came from a set down twice to take the match the distance on Philippe Chatrier, eventually falling to a 9-7 defeat in the fifth to end his dreams of completing a career Grand Slam.

"It's been an unbelievable match to be part of, but all I can feel now is disappointment," Djokovic told reporters.

"I congratulate him, because that's why he's a champion. That's why he's been ruling Roland Garros for many years, and for me it's another year."

Nadal will play fellow Spaniard David Ferrer in Sunday's final.
