Murray to play Young in opening rubber

Andy Murray will take on Donald Young in the opening rubber of the Davis Cup clash between Great Britain and the United States in Glasgow.

The world number five will be hoping to give Leon Smith's side an early advantage as they attempt to reach the World Group quarter-finals for the second successive year.

James Ward will play John Isner in the second game, while Jamie Murray and Dominic Inglot are scheduled to face Bob and Mike Bryan in the doubles on Saturday afternoon.

Smith will be allowed to changed his doubles lineup up to one hour before the match, but Andy Murray has insisted that he is unlikely to feature in the middle contest.
