Andy Murray out of Davis Cup tie

Andy Murray's schedule prevents him from playing any part in Great Britain's upcoming Davis Cup tie against Belgium.

Great Britain will be without Andy Murray for their upcoming Davis Cup tie against Belgium.

The world number four's current schedule does not allow him to play any part in the match that will be taking place over the weekend starting Friday, April 6.

As a result, James Ward, Dan Evans, Colin Fleming and Ross Hutchins will represent the British team.

Captain Leon Smith believes that his side will face a tough test against the Belgians.

"It will be a real step up," said Smith. "But if the team can put on some fine performances as they did against Slovakia, then we have a real chance of qualifying for the World Group play-offs."

Murray is currently playing at the Miami Open, where he is through to round four.
