Federer wins Cincinnati Open

Roger Federer has won the Cincinnati Open by defeating Novak Djokovic in straight sets.

The Swiss won the first set 6-0 in just 20 minutes and gave away only 10 points.

However, the world number one was given a fight by the Serbian in the second set, but the 31-year-old eventually won it 7-6 (7) to claim his fifth title in Cincinnati.

Federer is now tied with Rafael Nadal for the most Masters titles on 21 wins, and will now set his sights on victory at the US Open, which starts at the end of the month.
