7.25amSET! Wozniacki 6-4 Tsurenko
Stephens 5-4* RobsonStephens holds with an ace at just the right time. She pumps her fist and lets out a little scream. She knows that Robson is on the warpath.

7.06amRobson serves her first double fault.
7.05amStephens has definitely made the brighter start, of that there can be no doubt. The signs from Robson were positive in the last game, as she got one of the breaks back. There's a long way to go in this set, unless Robson's injury becomes too much for her. I doubt that it will, but it could be enough to put her off her game.
7.02amThe doctor is out there too and it looks like she's having some painkillers. A medical timeout is called.
7.01amRobson has the trainer on court working on her arm.
Stephens 4-1* RobsonBREAK! Robson gets a break back. She was far more proactive in that game, and cut down on the errors that have plagued her early in this set. If she can hold now then she's back within touching distance.

Stephens *4-0 RobsonBREAK! This set is getting away from the 18-year-old now. It was a strange point, with both players looping the ball onto the baseline. However, the American dispatched another forehand cross court to get the double break.
6.55amStephens rattles away another forehand in the opening point. Robson didn't even move for it. The Brit looks tight as she strays wide with an overhead smash. Perhaps the arm injury is taking its toll slightly. She faces three break points.

6.43amRobson did well to reach Stephens's mishit return, which dropped just over the net. The Brit whipped a vicious forehand into the American, who fired wide as a result.
Stephens 1-0* RobsonAn easy hold in the first game of this match.
6.40amRight, it's Stephens to serve first. Game on.
6.34amThe players are having their pre-match hit, so we're not long from the first serve. Where's your money going? I'm backing Robson.
6.33amWell the ending of that match coincides perfectly with the end of the match between Del Potro and Chardy on Hisense. It's perfect, because that means we can get all of Robson's match against Sloane Stephens. Woohoo.
6.29amMurray (On who he'd like to play in next round): "It's a tough one, both have a tough style. Gael is just coming back from injury. Gilles is a hard worker and chases down every point."
6.27amMurray: "I need to strike the ball better. My timing was off, I left a lot of balls short."

6.11amBernakis serves up his third double fault, letting Murray into the game at 30-15.
Murray 6-3 6-4 5-3* BerankisVery accurate service game from Murray. He took speed off it, but flighted them beautifully to hold rapidly.
Murray 6-3 6-4 *4-3 BerankisSwift hold of serve from Berankis. Murray can put himself within a game of victory if he does the job with the ball in his hand now.
Murray 6-3 6-4 4-2* BerankisMurray's serve keeps him in front. If nothing else, he can be pleased with that today. Everything else has been a bit of a struggle at times, but he's battling through it. Let's not underestimate Berankis either, he's a tricky opponent. Not been easy to play against.

5.47amMurray comes into the net to punish a poor drop shot from Bernakis. He has the chance to close out the game on his serve now.
5.47amThe two play some dinky tennis at the net, with Bernakis coming out on top. He's won the battle at the net, has the Lithuanian. Can't take that to the bank, though.
5.45amA beautifully weighted sliced lob by Bernakis, which betrays his lowly 110 ranking, takes the first point on Murray's serve.
5.44amSET! Cilic 7-6[2] 3-6 6-2 4-6 Seppi

Murray 6-3 *3-4 BerankisBREAK! Well, that's what separates the good from the bad, I suppose. Murray didn't particularly do much in that last game, bar the final point. Berankis came into the net, and Murray executed a gorgeous lob. The Lithuanian tried a hotdog shot, but he's no Rafa Nadal...
5.21amThree break points for Murray. A serve down the T saves one.
5.20amA few jitters on his own serve now, though. 0-30.
Murray 6-3 2-4* BerankisBREAK! Berankis deservedly breaks. He had to take at least one of the chances, by the law of averages. The Lithuanian is the man on top in this set - by score and by performance.
5.19amGreat return of serve from the Lithuanian. He stepped up and took it early. Murray stretched for it but was never getting there.
5.18amAnother big serve at a crucial moment from Murray. He needs more though. Deuce.
5.17amBreak point Berankis.
Murray 6-3 *2-3 BerankisMurray misses with a forehand down the line and smashes his racquet head on the plexicushion. Things aren't quite going his way at the moment, despite him leading by a set.
5.11amSuper point. Berankis brings him into the net with a good drop shot, but Murray is as quick as anyone on tour and reaches it, clipping a lovely backhand wide. However, Berankis is positioned perfectly and clips into the open court.
Murray 6-3 2-2* BerankisMurray holds. His serve is working well for him, and has got him out of a few sticky situations. The errors are prevalent in his game at the moment.
5.08am"Come on! Do something" Murray shouts to himself. He needs to step it up here, because this is not the kind of performance he'd have hoped for. 30-30.

5.03amBernakis fires long after a rally in which neither man really wanted to take the lead. Both players were waiting for the mistake there, and it came from the Lithuanian.
5.01amMurray. Net. Again.
5amSuperb shot by Bernakis. He swats away another forehand that clips the line on its way through. Deuce.

4.59amAgain Murray fires into the net. He's beginning to get frustrated.
4.59amMurray goes into the net. He's struggling at the moment, and not looking very comfortable at all. His shoulder seems to be giving him a few problems as well. Deuce.

4.57amMurray challenges after his first serve is called out. Unsuccessful, but he leads 40-15.
Murray 6-3 *0-1 BerankisThe Lithuanian serves up his second ace to register the first game of the second set.
4.53amSET! Cilic 7-6[2] 3-6 6-2 Seppi
Murray 6-3 BerankisSET! Well he takes the set, but there are definite warning signs. Berankis has grown in confidence and is producing some fine shots. He'll have to be alert in this second set, he doesn't want to go four... or five... or lose...
4.50amA 129mph serve brings up set point. That's as fast as Serena's serve earlier. So credit to Serena.
4.49amMurray produces another big serve to fight off break point.
4.48amAce.
4.48amBreak point Berankis.
4.47amSuperb play from Berankis yet again. He's got the tools this lad. He generates quite a bit of power on his shots and had Murray worried at 30-30.
Murray *5-3 BerankisMurray carves a sliced backhand into the net to give Berankis the game. So, Murray will serves for the set part two.
4.43amMurray comes into the net but Berankis ties him up with a backhand down the line. Murray couldn't quite stretch far enough.
4.41amHe's switched off Murray. It looked like a potential 90-minute match, but now who knows?
Murray 5-2* BerankisBREAK! Sloppy play from Murray. He goes long and wide with a forehand to give Berankis one of the breaks back.
4.39amThe Lithuanian is troubling Murray's serve once again here. The Scot put far too much on a backhand. Berankis watched it all the way off the court. Two break points.
4.38amBerankis finds another winner. He's certainly dazzled the Rod Laver crowd, but errors have cost his dearly so far. He's got quite a few shots in his repertoire, though.
Murray *5-1 BerankisBREAK! Another wayward shot gives Murray the double break. He'll now serve for the first set.
4.35amBerankis goes wide with a forehand. He challenges, but hawkeye sides with line judge's call. Two break points for Murray.
4.34amGAME, SET AND MATCH! Dodig 6-4 3-6 [2]6-7 0-6 Gasquet
Murray 4-1* BerankisThe world number three holds, but it was a bit of a struggle.
4.31amBerankis hits the net with his return. Advantage Murray.
4.31amAce. Right down the centre.
4.30amBrilliant rally! Berankis comes out on top after 22 shots and Murray faces another break point...
4.29amAnother break point for Berankis. A few errors just creeping in now for Murray, while the first serve seems to have deserted him. He's also holding his shoulder.
4.27amDeuce.
4.27amIt was there for Berankis! His return forced Murray well wide, giving him a lot of court to aim at, but he fired wide.
4.26amMurray fails with a drop shot and must face two break points now.
4.26amBerankis now takes full advantage of Murray's second serve to move 15-30 ahead.
4.25amBrilliant double handed backhand down the line from Berankis. Just a snapshot of the ability he has.
Murray *3-1 BerankisThe Lithuanian gets his first game on the board, but had to work for that last point despite dictating it. Murray's defence is another aspect of his game that's become a major plus point. But Berankis got the job done.
4.23amThe spin Murray can generate on his slices is absurd. He's taken absolutely no time to settle here and looks in cruise control, even at this early stage.
4.22amSET! Cilic 7-6[2] 3-6 Seppi
Murray 3-0* BerankisThe world number three makes it 3-0 and has started in business-like fashion. Berankis looks like he has a few errors in him, while Murray looks cool as a cucumber.
4.19amMurray's serve has vastly improved in recent times. He sends a curving one down the T which gives Berankis absolutely no chance.
4.17amMurray comes to the net for the first time and Berankis steps into mid-court before whipping a forehand past the Scot.

Chardy 6-3 6-3 2-1* Del PotroChardy holds to stay on serve in the third and pivotal set. But now, we're going back over to Rod Laver for Andy Murray's clash with Ricardas Berankis.
Chardy 6-3 6-3 *1-1 Del PotroBREAK! Chardy breaks right back. Delpo just doesn't look himself out on Hisense. He double faults at a the crucial moment, just as the Frenchman did in the game previously.
Chardy 6-3 6-3 0-1* Del PotroBREAK! Chardy fluffs his lines with a backhand volley at the net. That gives Delpo two break points, and a double fault puts the bow on top of that game for the Argentine. Maybe that's the catalyst for a comeback. We'll see...
3.59amThere must be something in the air at Melbourne Park today. With Azarenka being pushed hard and Del Potro in a spot of bother, Murray will need no further warning to stay on his toes. I'm sure Mr Lendl is right in his ear in the locker room.
Chardy 6-3 6-3 Del PotroSET! Wow, the Argentine is in deep trouble. This match is in Murray's section of the draw. It would of course be a massive boost for the Scot if Del Potro was to be sent crashing out here. Although you can't take anything for granted with the draw - he has to navigate Ricardas Berankis.
3.55amDelpo, facing two set points, has just hit a marvelous cross-court forehand winner. Can he do it again?
3.54amAndy Murray is next on Rod Laver. We'll go straight to that, but let's check in on the potential shock over on Hisense, where Del Potro is a set and a break down to Chardy.
3.52amSET! Vinci 6-4 [4]6-7 Vesnina

Williams 6-1 6-3 MoritaGAME, SET AND MATCH! Another backhand from Morita's second serve - this time cross-court - seals the deal for Williams. Comfortable match, really. A bit of trouble at the beginning of the second, but nothing she couldn't handle.

Williams 6-1 *0-1 MoritaMorita holds her opening service game.
3.16amFive aces and 15 winners will please Serena. 12 unforced errors will not.
Williams 6-1 MoritaSET! I don;t think we'll be having to wait too long for Mr Murray. Serena is answering the challenge put down by Maria Sharapova here.
3.14amWilliams has stepped up a gear now and is dominating. A 128mph ace brings up three set points.
Williams *5-1 MoritaBREAK! Serena secures the double break with a booming forehand.

3.11amMeanwhile, Serena is threatening the Morita serve. 40-30.
3.09amSET! Chardy 6-3 Del Potro
3.07amWell, there you have it. What a trooper, to quote Caroline Wozniacki.
3.07amThe Sunday Times tennis correspondent Barry Flatman on Twitter: "No wonder Jamie Hampton looked in pain against Vika. She was playing with two herniated disks in her lower back. Hampton has had that condition since last year's French Open."
Williams 4-1* MoritaWilliams consolidates the break with little trouble.
Williams *3-1 MoritaShe only needs one, taking the lead with a deep backhand that left Morita powerless.
3.02amThree break points for Williams.
3.02amWilliams turns the screw on the Morita serve. She's up 0-30.
3amSET! Dodig 6-4 3-6 Gasquet
Williams 2-1* MoritaSerena's serve is a potent weapon, and it came to her rescue a few time in that game. She holds to a 2-1 lead, but Morita looks a wily opponent.
2.58amA big serve gets Serena back to deuce. Morita got her racquet on it though.
2.58amBreak point Morita. The Japanese player looks like she has a bit of power herself. She seems willing to trade with Serena.
2.57amSuperb hitting from Morita. She finds the corner with a a nice double-handed backhand. Deuce.
2.55amAce. That's what the best players do time and time again when faced with break/match points. Awesome.
2.55amBreak point Morita.
2.54amDeuce.
2.54amMorita has clawed it back to 40-30 on the Williams serve. There was a chance for Serena to put the game to bed on that last point, but she fired into the net with an empty court at her mercy.
2.52amWilliams serves her second ace. Nothing unusual there.
Williams *1-1 MoritaMorita holds, though Williams doesn't look like she's firing on all cylinders just yet. Feeling her way into this one.
2.50amWilliams looked to be in control of that last point. She tends to gain the upper hand when the rallies get beyond a couple of shots. But Morita hung in there and eventually prevailed.
2.48amSuper cross-court forehand by Williams. It was offered to her on a plate though.
Williams 1-0* MoritaSerena holds in her opening service game.

2.40amBut at Melbourne Park, Vesnina is serving at 5-4 down in the first set. Both players have broken once.
2.35amAs you're no doubt aware, the second part of Lance Armstrong's interview with Oprah Winfrey is currently airing on TV. We have live coverage of that with our Editor, Neil Wilkes.
2.30amSerena Williams is up next on Rod Laver. She faces Ayumi Morita. I can't see Serena having the same problems that Azarenka just had, but then again I didn't think Hampton had enough to trouble the Belarusian. So what do I know?
2.28amBut it's the world number one who wins through to the next round, where she will play either Elena Vesnina or Roberta Vinci, who are fighting it out on Margaret Court. It's currently on serve in the first set.
2.25amCommiserations for Hampton, she played beautifully. What could've been if not for the back problem. She's won plenty of friends in Melbourne and no doubt has a bright future in the game.
2.24amGAME, SET AND MATCH! Azarenka 6-4 4-6 6-2 Hampton
2.23amTwo match points for Azarenka...
2.23amGAME, SET AND MATCH! Kuznetsova 6-2 4-6 6-3 Suarez Navarro

2.21amGAME, SET AND MATCH! Kirilenko 7-6[4] 6-3 Wickmayer
Azarenka 6-2 4-6 5-2* HamptonThe forehand deserts Hampton this time. She got too much on it and the ball sailed past the baseline. It's not over 'til it's over... but it might be over...
2.20amAdvantage Azarenka. If she holds here, I think that'll be game over.
2.19amAll three gone. Azarenka digs deep, but in truth Hampton was at fault.
2.17amThree break points Hampton. This truly is unbelievable. The American is playing inspired tennis.
2.17amHampton strokes another forehand winner. That's 26 now. Amazing.
Azarenka 6-2 4-6 *4-2 HamptonBREAK! Hampton's back problem is clearly evident now, as she swings at the ball rather than the fluid motion we've become accustomed to in this match. Azarenka edges ahead.

Azarenka 6-2 4-6 *2-2 HamptonBREAK! And there it is, Azarenka breaks straight back. The crowd hardly clap. They're right behind Hampton in this one!
2.08amThis is stunning tennis from Hampton. She can put that forehand on a sixpence. But she has to fight off a break point here...
2.05amThe defending champion is in deep trouble at the moment. Apart from grimaces, Hampton's back doesn't really look to be troubling her.
Azarenka 6-2 4-6 1-2* HamptonBREAK! Hampton breaks! Amazing scenes on Rod Laver. The crowd are absolutely loving it, while Azarenka looks ready to burst.
2.03amAzarenka cuts a rather frustrated figure out on court now. She's unable to read the American's forehand, which has amazing disguise on it. Hampton now has two break points...
Azarenka 6-2 4-6 *1-1 HamptonHampton holds. The 23-year-old from Alabama is giving a fantastic account of herself here, as another forehand passes by Azarenka. That's 22 in total from that side alone in this match.
1.59amHampton was break point down then, but her trusty forehand comes up trumps yet again. She follows that with an ace.
1.57amHampton runs around to get on her forehand and casually swipes a winner. Azarenka isn't really taking advantage of this situation.
1.55amShe's soldiering on though. Credit to her.
Azarenka 6-2 4-6 1-0* HamptonAzarenka holds, but Hampton is hardly moving now.
1.54amThe American goes for another drop shot, but this time cuts it into the net. Her face is contorting at the end of each point now, I'm not sure how much longer this'll last. It's such a shame, because she has the measure of Azarenka at the moment.
1.52amHampton finds the corner with another delicious forehand. Another grimace, though. 0-15 on Azarenka's serve.
Azarenka 6-2 4-6 HamptonSET! We're going to a decider! Hampton grimaced for the first time in the last game. She's getting more treatment at the changeover now.

1.49amWow! That was a seriously well-disguised drop shot from the baseline by Hampton. The crowd really are behind her now. But a second drop shot in a row might be a sign that her injury is affecting her...
1.47amThe American returns to the court, which is great. How much will that problem be affecting her? We're about to find out...
1.45amHopefully Hampton won't be forced into a retirement. That would be so unfortunate, given that she has the world number one on the ropes.
1.42amHampton has called for the trainer. The problem is with her lower back. She hasn't really been struggling with it, not visibly anyway. A full medical timeout of three minutes has been called for as she leaves the court for treatment.
1.40amSET! Kuznetsova 6-2 4-6 Suarez Navarro
Azarenka 6-2 4-5* HamptonHampton flinches with the finishing line in sight. She misses four forehands in a row, but will now serve to force a third set. Can she hold her nerve?

1.37amTwo set points for Hampton. She brings it up with a quite stupendous forehand return that Azarenka doesn't even see.
Azarenka 6-2 *3-5 HamptonWow! Gutsy play from the American. A big second serve helped her set up game point, and she found another forehand winner after stepping up to the net. She's now just one game from levelling the score.
1.34amThat was a wayward forehand at a crucial moment from Azarenka. She swipes at the floor with her racquet in frustration.
1.33amBreak point for Azarenka.
1.33amHampton prevails after a decent rally. Azarenka challenges, and it's possible one of the worst I've seen. The ball was about a mile inside the baseline. Clutching at straws.
1.30amWell, what she really needs is a break back, but the Hampton serve is susceptible.
Azarenka 6-2 3-4* HamptonA quick hold to love for Azarenka. Just what she needed.
Azarenka 6-2 *2-4 HamptonThe American keeps her cool and keeps her nose in front. Work to be done for Vika.
1.27amYou can't do anything with a shot as precise as the one Azarenka just hit. A backhand right into the corner of the box. Deuce.
1.25amBrilliant get from Hampton! She had to be on her toes to reach Azarenka's return, but dug out a forehand into the empty court.
1.23amSET! Kirilenko 7-6[4] Wickmayer
Azarenka 6-2 2-3* HamptonThe world number one finally holds serve in this set. She trails by a break.
1.21amHampton is starting to work the backhand side now. Azarenka is going to have to find another gear if she wants to win this one, it seems. Hampton is giving her all sorts of problems.
Azarenka 6-2 *1-3 HamptonEventually, she gets the job done. A little stutter, but she records the first hold of serve in the second set.
1.18amHampton is having trouble closing this game out now. We're at deuce.
1.15amAnother backhand has Azarenka stranded on the opposite side of the court.
1.15amGood start on serve for Hampton. She puts away a backhand to go 15-0 up. The first step in the right direction.

1.12amOof! Tight call there as Hampton goes very close to the baseline. One break point left...
1.11amThree break points for Hampton.
Azarenka 6-2 *1-1 HamptonBREAK! The Belarusian breaks straight back. It could be 'one of them matches'. The ones where service holds are like breaks.
1.08amAzarenka now has three break points.
Azarenka 6-2 0-1* HamptonBREAK! This time it's the American's backhand that does the job. It was a fine return of serve and she edges in front early in this second set.
1.05amTwo break points for Hampton now.
1.05amThe forehand of Hampton is still in fine fettle. She quickly gets to 0-30 on Azarenka's serve.
Azarenka 6-2 HamptonSET! A double fault gifts Azarenka the first set. And after all that work to get back from 5-1 down. That's a sickener for the American.
1amTwo set points for Azarenka.
1amThis time it's Hampton's turn to double. It's her first of the match, but it gets Azarenka to 0-30 up.
12.59amAll the momentum is with Hampton now, but she mustn't take her foot off the pedal.
12.57amBREAK! Amazing. We're back on serve and have a game on our hands.
12.56amAnother double gives Hampton three break points.
12.55amHampton is up 0-30. Is the defending champ flapping slightly?
Azarenka *5-3 HamptonHampton wants to bottle that forehand, she could make a fortune. What can she do on Azarenka's serve now?
12.51amSET! Kuznetsova 6-2 Suarez Navarro
Azarenka 5-2* HamptonBREAK! Finally, she gets the breakthrough she probably deserves. She was helped by some really lax play from Azarenka, but still trails by a break in this set.
12.49amBreak point number three for Hampton. She's certainly testing Vika here.
12.48amAnother break point for Hampton. She latches onto a short ball, running around to whip the forehand away. But an ace from Azarenka gets her back to deuce.
12.48amIt was there for Hampton, but her cross-court forehand strays just an inch or two too far! So very close to getting one of the breaks back there.
12.47amBreak point Hampton. Azarenka's first serve deserted her again, and her second was tentative and bounced awfully close to the line.
12.46amAnother double fault brings up deuce. What's going on here?
12.45amTwo double faults in a row from Azarenka. We're at 30-30 now. Surely she's not getting tight?
Azarenka *5-1 HamptonBREAK! A simply gorgeous lob by Azarenka. Hampton's approach shot let a little to be desired, but the Belarusian's lob landed flush on the line. She'll serve for the set now.
12.42amSuperb running forehand from Hampton! Azarenka was completely in control of that point, but a flick of the wrist and she gets the ball back in play. Azarenka wasn't set for it. One break point saved.
12.40amTwo break points Azarenka.
12.39amAzarenka quickly gets to 0-30.
Azarenka 4-1* HamptonHampton flicks a half volley at the net just wide and Azarenka holds. A big hold in the contest of the set, maybe. We'll see if Hampton can hold, and then if she can trouble Azarenka once more. We'll know a lot more at the next changeover.
12.36amAzarenka replies with a textbook forehand of her own. This has been some great tennis so far...
12.35amWhat a rally! Hampton was on the offensive, pulling Azarenka all over the court. Just at the right time, she steps up into the mid-court and dispatches another sweet forehand.
12.34amAzarenka slams the door shut. She puts in a wide serve, forcing her opponent to stretch for the return. She then comes to the net to kill the point off.
12.33amBreak point Hampton. Commentator's curse?
12.32amAs I say that, Hampton strikes a lovely cross-court winner to bring up deuce.
12.32amI don't think Hampton has quite got enough to trouble Azarenka, especially when she looks in this form. Formidable. A few mistakes, but not sloppy ones really. She's perhaps just going for a bit too much.
12.30amYannina Wickmayer and Maria Kirilenko are underway over on Hisense, while Svetlana Kuznetsova and Carla Suarez Navarro are away on court number two.
Azarenka *3-1 HamptonBREAK! She doesn't make the same mistake... well, thrice. She gets the break at the third time of asking after Hampton dumps the ball into the net.
12.28amAzarenka wastes both though. She fired long after a decent rally with the second. You expect Azarenka to win those points of attrition.
12.27amCouple of break points for Azarenka due to some unforced errors from Hampton...
Azarenka 2-1* HamptonQuick hold from Azarenka. Her first serve percentage reads 100%, which isn't bad...
Azarenka *1-1 HamptonA good hold from Hampton there. Azarenka got in, but she kept her cool and finished the game off. Still might to have enough to win this, but her forehand looks pretty tasty.
12.20amWow, you cannot give Azarenka an inch it seems. She'll take a mile. Brilliant forehand of her own and we're at deuce.
12.19amNo signs of nerves so far from Hampton. She goes long with a forehand, but doesn't mind going for another one straight after. Then she nearly finds the line with another, which might have been worth a challenge.
Azarenka 1-0* HamptonA confident start from the American to take the first point, but Azarenka comes back to take the next four points to hold serve.
12.13amBut now down to action, with Azarenka serving first.
12.12amLaura Robson will be on pretty late. Around 5.15am by estimate. But if you can, we'd love for you to join us.
12.10amSerena Williams is next match on after this one. She takes on Ayumi Morita of Japan. Then it's time for Murray. So fear not, I don't think it will be too long before he's on. If you have stayed up this late, you may as well stay up a little later...
12.07amIt's Jamie Hampton's first time in the third round of a Grand Slam. She reached the second round here last year, as well as at Wimbledon.
