Ryan Cochrane sets pace in 1500m freestyle heats

Canada's Ryan Cochrane has posted the fastest time during this afternoon's heats for the 1500m freestyle competition at the Commonwealth Games.

The 25-year-old was just 0.09 seconds faster than Scotland's Stephen Milne after completing his heat in 15:03.29.

Daniel Jervis of Wales also progresses, alongside English duo Daniel Fogg and Joe Lelliott.

The final takes place tomorrow evening at the Tollcross Swimming Centre.
