Robin McBryde: 'Wales looking for inside track on France'

Robin McBryde says that Wales hope to beat France in the Six Nations thanks to inside knowledge from players in their squad who ply their trade in the Top 14.

Wales forwards coach Robin McBryde is hoping that those players plying their trade across the English Channel can provide inside knowledge on France ahead of their Six Nations encounter.

The 2011 World Cup semi-finalists meet Les Bleus in Paris next weekend as they look to keep their hopes of winning the tournament alive.

McBryde believes that some of Warren Gatland's stars who are currently playing in France could offer crucial information.

He is quoted by Wales Online as saying: "We've got an insight into the French culture and training from our boys that play over there.

"Hopefully, that information individuals are sharing with us will give us a little bit of an advantage when we are targeting one or two individuals."

France will be looking to get their own Six Nations campaign back on track after a narrow defeat against Ireland last weekend.
