Robin McBryde 'concerned' about referees' "preconception" of Gethin Jenkins

McBryde 'concerned' by Jenkins reputation

Wales forwards coach Robin McBryde believes that referees have a 'preconceived' idea of loose-head prop Gethin Jenkins.

The 33-year-old has been sin-binned in Wales's victory over France and their defeat to England in the Six Nations.

"My concern is there's a preconception out there - a perceived idea with Gethin," BBC Sport quotes McBryde as saying. "I am concerned that we have obviously fallen the wrong side of Romain Poite (referee against England)."

Jenkins received the punishments for scrum offences.
