Shaun Edwards says that Wales cannot be underestimated going into their Six Nations clash with France this weekend.

Wales assistant coach Shaun Edwards is anticipating a battle between two "pumped up" sides when they face France at the weekend.

Both teams lost their opening match to their Six Nations campaign, with the French losing 23-18 to Italy the day after the reigning champions had been beaten 30-22 by Ireland.

Despite the loss being Wales's eighth on the trot, Edwards insists that his side should not be underestimated going into the match.

"We need to get to France with our A game, to get back to our A game for the full 80 minutes," he said.

"If we do that, we've got a chance. They will be pretty pumped up for it on Saturday, but so will we."

Wales travel to the Stade de France to take on the French on Saturday.
