Wales centre Jonathan Davies making good progress

Scarlets announce that Wales centre Jonathan Davies could be fit for the final two fixtures of the upcoming Six Nations after rupturing his pectoral against South Africa in November.

Wales have received a boost ahead of the Six Nations with news that Jonathan Davies might yet play some part in their defence of the trophy.

The 25-year-old Scarlets centre ruptured a pectoral during the Autumn International defeat to South Africa and was initially expected to miss the action, which gets underway on February 1.

However, a statement on his club's website revealed that he is back in light training, and could be back in action in early March.

If the prognosis is correct, Davies will be back in time for the final two fixtures against England (March 9) and Scotland (March 15).
