Warren Gatland makes six Wales changes for Australia showdown

Warren Gatland makes six changes to his Wales starting lineup for Saturday's Rugby World Cup Pool A decider against Australia at Twickenham.

Wales coach Warren Gatland has made six changes to his starting XV for Saturday's Rugby World Cup Pool A decider against Australia at Twickenham.

Gareth Anscombe makes his first Test start at full-back, while Liam Williams returns on the wing so George North moves to 13 to partner Jamie Roberts at centre.

North will start at outside-centre for the third time for Wales. The last time he did so was when Wales narrowly lost 33-28 to Australia on November 8, 2014.

With both teams winning their first three matches and gaining 13 points, the winner will finish top of the group and face either Scotland or Japan in the last eight.

The loser will face South Africa, who secured top spot in Pool B with a 64-0 thrashing of the USA yesterday.

Australia have delayed the naming of their team because Israel Folau and Rob Horne are to undergo late fitness tests later today.

Wales: James, Baldwin, Lee; Charteris, Wyn Jones; Warburton, Tipuric; Faletau; Davies, Biggar, Liam Williams, Roberts, North, Cuthbert, Anscombe
Replacements: Owens, Jarvis, Francis, Ball, Moriarty, Lloyd Williams, Priestland, Hook
