Wales comfortably beat Argentina

Wales comfortably beat Pumas

Wales ran in four tries as they breezed past Argentina in this afternoon's Autumn Test at the Millennium Stadium.

Leigh Halfpenny kicked a penalty in the seventh minute before Mike Phillips went over for the first try by pouncing on a spill from Argentina fly-half Nicolas Sanchez before running from inside his own half past the posts.

Halfpenny added three more points before the second try came from George North after a reverse pass from Phillips foxed the Pumas' defence.

Sanchez kicked over Argentina's first points of the game before another Halfpenny kick restored the hosts' 20-point half-time lead.

Halfpenny and Sanchez kicked two more penalties to begin the second half before Toby Faletau went over for Wales's third try.

The rout was completed in the 67th minute by substitute hooker Ken Owens, who scored his first international try to make it 40-6, which is how it stayed until the end.
