Sam Warburton, Dan Biggar passed fit for Ireland clash

Wales receive a huge boost ahead of next week's Six Nations meeting against Ireland with news that skipper Sam Warburton and fly-half Dan Biggar are both fit to play.

Wales duo Sam Warburton and Dan Biggar have been given the green light to play against Ireland in next week's crunch Six Nations battle in Cardiff.

Red Dragons skipper Warburton has recovered from a bruised knee picked up in the 20-13 victory over France last time out, while his teammate has also been passed fit having overcome a hip injury.

Both players have returned to training and are in contention to feature against current championship leaders Ireland in nine days' time.

Victory for Wales in that one will see them peg back their opponents at the summit, meaning that they will head to Italy for the final round of fixtures with their title hopes intact.
