USA name Rugby World Cup squad

The USA name their 31-man squad for the 2015 Rugby World Cup, with Chris Wyles continuing as captain.

The USA Eagles have named their 31-man squad for the 2015 Rugby World Cup.

Chris Wyles will captain a contingent that contains no real surprises nor has any international debutants.

Thirteen players have professional contracts outside of America, in the same squad that was chosen for the USA's three World Cup warm-up games.

"In terms of Rugby World Cup experience, yes, this is a relatively inexperienced group," head coach Mike Tolkin told USA Rugby's official website. "However, while the Rugby World Cup is a whole different kettle of fish, many of these players do have a fair bit of international play under their belts since 2011."

USA Eagles World Cup squad:

Danny Barrett, Chris Baumann, Cameron Dolan, Andrew Durutalo, Zach Fenoglio, Eric Fry, Seamus Kelly, Olive Kilifi, Niku Kruger, Titi Lamositele, Scott LaValla, AJ MacGinty, Samu Manoa, Al McFarland, Matekitonga Moeakiola, Takudzwa Ngwenya, Folau Niua, Thretton Palamo, Greg Peterson, Mike Petri, John Quill, Blaine Scully (Vice Captain), Hayden Smith, Louis Stanfill, Andrew Suniula, Shalom Suniula, Joseph Taufete'e, Zack Test, Phil Thiel, Brett Thompson, Chris Wyles
