Rory Lamont suffers suspected broken leg

Scotland's Rory Lamont suffered a suspected broken leg during his side's 23-17 defeat to France in the Six Nations earlier today.

The 29-year-old sustained the injury in the 30th minute at Murrayfield when he landed awkwardly while contesting a restart.

The Glasgow Warriors back required instant medical attention before being stretchered off the field of play.

Lamont has won 29 caps for Scotland.
