Result: Scotland 15-6 Georgia

Scotland have recorded a second victory in their Rugby World Cup campaign with a 15-6 win over Georgia.

Scotland endured a shaky start after committing four handling errors early on and eventually conceding the first three points after a Merab Kvirikashvili penalty.

The Scots missed out on equalling the scoreline after Dan Parks missed a penalty from 30 metres out on the 19th minute mark. Despite going wide, the Cardiff Blues fly-half redeemed his mistake by scoring level for his side with a direct penalty kick.

The 33-year-old secured the lead before the break for Scotland with another penalty followed by a 38 minute drop-goal just inside the Georgia half.

After the break, the Scottish side endured a mismatched few minutes with a failed penalty attempt from Parks which fell wide of the right-hand.

Despite the mistake, Parks managed to take Scotland to a 12-point lead while Georgia hit back with a penalty from Merab Kvirirkashvili.

However Parks managed to lengthen Scotland’s lead with a penalty kick from 40 metres out, gifting another win for the Scots.
