Murray handed Mont-de-Marsan role

Former Scotland lock Scott Murray has been appointed as the forwards coach for French Top 14 outfit Mont-de-Marsan.

The 36-year-old has succeeded Marc Dantin who has been removed from his position due to a poor run of results at the club.

Murray joined the French outfit as a player in June on a two-year deal, but has been given the task of improving a lacklustre start to the season.

Murray, who also played for the Lions, was capped 87 times by his country.
