Owen Farrell to resume training with Saracens

Saracens fly-half Owen Farrell has been told that he can resume training following a foot injury.

The 22-year-old suffered the problem on Sunday during his side's 28-24 win over Northampton Saints.

Farrell is expected to return to training at the end of the week after a scan revealed that there was no serious damage to the injured area.

Sarries continue their Aviva Premiership campaign on Sunday with a trip to Newcastle Falcons.
