New Zealand coach Steve Hansen wants tough Australia, Argentina tie

New Zealand coach Steve Hansen wants Australia and Argentina to "bash each other to bits" in their RWC semi-final, as the winners will meet the All Blacks in the final.

New Zealand coach Steve Hansen has stated that he wants Australia and Argentina to play out a hard-hitting semi-final on Sunday.

The two sides meet at Twickenham to play for a spot in the Rugby World Cup final against Hansen's New Zealand, who overcame South Africa 20-18 on Saturday in a battling display.

When asked which team he would like the All Blacks to face in the final, Hansen told reporters: "I don't care. We are in it. Whoever we get will be very, very tough.

"We would be very foolish to think that whoever turns up next weekend won't have plenty to give to the game. I just want them to bash each other to bits tomorrow.

"We will enjoy tonight but we want to put a full stop in that and work towards a massive game next weekend."

The competition's decider will take place at Twickenham on October 31.
