Japan-bound Sonny Bill Williams still wants to represent All Blacks

Japan bound All Blacks centre Sonny Bill Williams has announced that he would still like to play for the All Blacks in spite of his move away from New Zealand.

In a conversation with All Blacks coach Steve Hansen, Williams made it clear that he would still relish the opportunity to play for the All Blacks in the upcoming Rugby Championship.

"He told me about their situation, and I said 'yeah of course I would love to if all things are right on the Japanese side and it's worked out well'," said Williams.

Hansen is currently contending with an injury to Williams's fellow centre Conrad Smith.
