Jonah Lomu released from hospital

All Blacks legend Jonah Lomu has been released from hospital after 16 days of treatment for kidney failure.

It is believed that pressure from boxing training and a protein-heavy diet contributed to his ill health.

The former winger had a starring role in the Rugby World Cup opening ceremony at Eden Park, but will not taking part in the closing ceremony.
