Ireland have delayed naming their squad for next weekend's Six Nations match with England to allow their injured players time to recover.

Declan Kidney's side opened their campaign with a 30-22 win over champions Wales in Cardiff on Saturday.

However, Jamie Heaslip, Gordon D'Arcy, Brian O'Driscoll, Mike Ross and Keith Earls are all nursing problems ahead of their encounter with the English in Dublin.

England also won their Six Nations opener on Saturday, thanks to a 38-18 triumph over Scotland at Twickenham.
