Ireland forward Jamie Heaslip to miss rest of Six Nations?

Ireland forward Jamie Heaslip's participation in the Six Nations is reportedly in doubt due to a back injury.

Ireland forward Jamie Heaslip is reportedly a doubt for the rest of the Six Nations with a back injury.

The 31-year-old suffered the problem on Saturday during his side's narrow win over France in Dublin.

It has been widely rumoured that Heaslip broke a vertebrae after receiving a knee in the back by Pascal Pape.

"Jamie got a knee in the lower back - we'll get him checked out over the next few days," coach Joe Schmidt said following the match.

Defending champions Ireland, who have won their opening two games of the competition, return to action on March 1 when they host England.
