Ireland's Keith Earls believes that Russia will be in for a tough time when they face off in Rotorua on Sunday.

Irish confidence is high following a 15-6 win over Australia at the weekend, with the lack of creativity from their backs their only concern.

"Against Australia there wasn't a need to throw it around the backs because the forwards were playing so well,” he said.

"You'll see a lot more from our back line, hopefully starting from this weekend.

"If we get good weather hopefully we'll spread the ball around."

Ireland currently top Pool C, while Russia are at the bottom of the table.
