Conor Murray doubtful for Ireland Tests due to potential ban

Ireland scrumhalf Conor Murray could be absent from his nation's Tests in November after getting cited during Munster's victory over Glasgow on Friday.

The 24-year-old could be punished for an incident in Munster's 13-6 victory, where he is said to have struck Glasgow scrumhalf Niko Matawalu with his elbow.

It is understood that Murray could be given an eight-week ban if found guilty of the offence, according to Supersport.com.

Murray has earned 19 international caps.
