Video: Alex Gray eyes World Cup glory with England sevens

Alex Gray is confident that he can prove his worth when he travels to Moscow for the World Cup with the England sevens this month.

Alex Gray has insisted that he will try to prove his worth when the England sevens travel to Moscow later this month for the World Cup.

After becoming frustrated with the lack of playing time at London Irish, the 22-year-old abandoned the regular XV code at the end of the season to commit to Ben Ryan's England sevens team.

Gray believes that the tournament, which begins for England on June 28, gives the side the perfect chance to answer the critics following an inconsistent World Series.
