Owen Farrell added a penalty early in the second, to add to his two conversions in the first half, to leave England with a 17-9 lead with 20 minutes remaining.

France cut the score to 17-12 after 65 minutes when Morgan Parra added a penalty, before a Beauxis penalty make it a two point game.
