Brown "ecstatic" to score against Scotland

Mike Brown has said that he was "ecstatic" to score a try during England's Calcutta Cup victory over Scotland in the Six Nations.

The full-back scored the second of two tries for the away side in the 20-0 win at Murrayfield this evening, which leaves England second in the championship table.

The 28-year-old, who was named man of the match, told BBC Sport: "Losing to France last week was massively frustrating and we wanted to show a reaction this week. We've definitely done that.

"I'm ecstatic to score a try. The pitch isn't in the best condition but I thought we played at a great tempo."

England will host unbeaten Ireland in their next game.
