England cruise to Calcutta Cup win

England have cruised to a 20-0 victory over Scotland to retain the Calcutta Cup and clinch their first win of this season's Six Nations championship.

Danny Care opened the scoring after just five minutes with a drop goal, before Luther Burrell grounded the opening try of the match while stretching for the line.

The visitors had a chance to increase their lead early in the second half when Alex Dunbar was sin-binned, but England were unable to capitalise on their one-man advantage for the majority of his absence.

However, Scotland's defence crumbled just before he returned, as Mike Brown broke off a tackle from Matt Scott to add the visitors' second try of the day.

Owen Farrell, who had a mixed day with boot, tried to squeeze through a gap for a third England try late on, but was forced into touch.

The result moves England up to second in the table, behind unbeaten Ireland.
