Sam Burgess "more comfortable" in rugby union

Sam Burgess claims that he is more at home in rugby union after being with England's training squad for the Rugby World Cup.

Sam Burgess has admitted that he is feeling "more comfortable" in rugby union since his cross-code switch last year.

The former Great Britain and South Sydney Rabbitohs league forward has been part of England's training squad ahead of the Rugby World Cup, which starts next month.

After playing in England's 19-14 victory over France on Saturday, the Bath centre suggested that he is becoming more at home in the 15-man game.

He told reporters: "I'm feeling so much more comfortable within the game.

"When you're in one sport which you feel you know inside out and then come to another and start all over again, it's frustrating. But I'm sticking with it and am really enjoying the challenge.

"I've never lied about that. I've never hidden that. I'm really enjoying it. It's been a wonderful six to eight weeks with England. Hopefully I can keep going."

England travel to Paris to face Les Bleus in their second warm-up Test next Saturday.
