Flanker Tom Wood says that England have fallen short of their expectations in the autumn series.

Tom Wood has said that a third loss in the Autumn Internationals would be unacceptable for England.

England won their opening game of the series against Fiji, but followed that with losses to Australia and South Africa, with a game against New Zealand still to come.

The Northampton Saints flanker told Sky Sports News: "We need to salvage something next week. Three losses would be pretty unacceptable and for all the good work we need to reinforce that with a win.

"To finish the autumn with three defeats would be pretty disappointing. We came out with high expectations. We have come very close and fallen short unfortunately.

"It would be a great way to finish the series with a win next week against the world champions but we know we will be in for another battle."

England face the All Blacks at Twickenham next Saturday.
