Dewi Morris: 'Sir Graham Henry the right man for England'

Graham Henry is the right man to replace Stuart Lancaster as England head coach, according to Dewi Morris.

Former England international Dewi Morris has insisted that the RFU "should move heaven and earth" to secure the services of Sir Graham Henry as Stuart Lancaster's replacement.

Lancaster left his position as head coach earlier today by mutual consent on the back of England's early exit from the Rugby World Cup that they hosted lasted month.

A number of names have already been linked with the vacancy, including Eddie Jones, Jim Mallinder and Conor O'Shea.

However, Morris has claimed that the job that 69-year-old Henry has carried out with both New Zealand and Argentina should make him the leading contender.

"So who do England turn to next? Well the man I think England should move heaven and earth to get is Graham Henry. What he has done with New Zealand is well documented but look at what he has done with Argentina as well," he told Sky Sports News.

"He has been working with them as a consultant and has been key in changing their focus and the way they attack. It's no coincidence that he has worked with them and they were one of the success stories of the World Cup."

Henry guided the All Blacks to World Cup success four years ago.
