Joe Marler 'unlikely' to face South Africa

England prop Joe Marler is not expected to be fit for his country's autumn international meeting with South Africa at the weekend.

The 22-year-old picked up a knee injury in the defeat to Australia at Twickenham, but it had been expected that the damage would keep him out for days rather than weeks.

However, according to the BBC, the Harlequins star will not take part, although London Irish prop Alex Corbisiero is expected to play.

England defeated Fiji in their first autumn international.
