Saracens coach Paul Gustard offered England role

Saracens coach Paul Gustard has been offered a role in the England coaching set-up.

The defence specialist has previously worked with new England head coach Eddie Jones at Saracens and is set to join before the Six Nations.

"Paul is considering the offer," Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall told reporters.

"I'm sure there will be dealings between the Rugby Football Union and ourselves over the next 24-48 hours."

Jones looks set to dispense with the services of current England coaches Graham Rowntree, Andy Farrell and Mike Catt.
