England fly-half George Ford expecting to be targeted by Samoa

England fly-half George Ford is expecting to be targeted by Samoa during this weekend's clash between the teams at Twickenham Stadium.

England fly-half George Ford has admitted that he expects to be targeted by Samoa during Saturday's match at Twickenham Stadium.

The Bath back will make his first start for the national team as coach Stuart Lancaster makes five changes following last weekend's defeat to South Africa.

The 22-year-old's inclusion in the starting XV has seen Owen Farrell move to inside centre.

"I presume they will be targeting me but I think it comes with the job title," Ford is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "Every time you step out there as a 10 the opposition team will target you so from that point of view nothing changes from my end."

Ford has made three previous appearances for England.
