England add Saxons duo for Australia clash

England head coach Stuart Lancaster has called forward pairing Rob Webber and Henry Thomas into the squad for their upcoming international Test against Australia.

Webber, the 27-year-old Bath hooker, has been brought into the party as cover for the injured Northampton Saints captain Dylan Hartley, while Sale Sharks prop Thomas has been drafted in as David Wilson, also of Bath, has a calf injury.

Both players toured Uruguay and Argentina with the Red Rose during the summer and have been promoted from the England Saxons team.

Lancaster will announce his team on Thursday for the opening autumn Test against on Australia on Saturday, with England also battling Argentina and New Zealand next month.
