Stuart Hooper confident of Bath progress

Bath captain Stuart Hooper insists that he is pleased with the progress that the team is making, despite last weekend's defeat to Saracens.

Bath captain Stuart Hooper has insisted that he is pleased with the team's progress, despite last weekend's defeat to Saracens in the Aviva Premiership.

The West Country club suffered their first loss of the season on Sunday as they went down 31-17 at Vicarage Road.

"Obviously it is difficult after a result like that at the weekend but we are confident in what we are doing," Hooper told Premiership Rugby's official website.

"We are training really hard and the guy's heads are down. We are pleased with the progress we are making."

Bath have the chance to get back to winning ways on Saturday when they welcome London Irish to the Recreation Ground.
